…it just happens.

It's been quite the busy week. I weighed on Tuesday and I'm currently 240 lbs., 111 lbs down from where I was when I had the surgery just less than 6 months ago. Pretty impressive, but I'm not done yet. I'm trying to get in the mindset of exercising, because I need to start doing that to keep losing at this rate…I will slow down sometime soon if I don't.

I've been busy at work this week, plus the home life is a bit hectic at the moment as well. Christy's been pulling some long hours at the office in hopes of being able to take off of work this upcoming Wednesday to go to the beach like we've planned on doing for a few months now. If not, we'll have to cancel the reservations at Club Intrawest in Sandestin and go back later on in the summer…which will depress me to no end. I am very much looking forward to these few days of R&R…

Marc is house-sitting for us this weekend so we don't have to board Sophie, so that's good…I appreciate that, buddy. :) I went shopping yesterday to find an outfit (or just a shirt) to wear on Saturday night in Mobile…oh, well for those that don't know, Rusty and Gina and me and Christy are headed to Mobile this weekend for Joan and Shorty's wedding reception. So I wanted something sharp to wear, and well, I am just not quite ready to buy department store clothes yet. I'm what you call a “tweener”…it's very frustrating. Rusty was going to come meet me to help out but he got caught in traffic so I decided to just buy a shirt, wear it with some nice chinos I have, and go with that. What I wear isn't really that important anyway, it's being there that matters.

I'm really getting into MVP Baseball 2004 on the PC…it's an EA Sports game title…very good stuff. I'm trying to make it quench my appetite for computer gaming until World of Warcraft comes out later this year…most of you probably know that I'm somewhat of a gamer, so this has been difficult for me. But World of Warcraft is now in it's 2nd phase of open beta testing, which probably means the release of the game is less than 2 months away…so that's very cool. :)

We're leaving for Mobile tonight after work, and I'll be back Sunday!
