Starting tomorrow @ 8am will begin the longest three days of my life.  You see, in order for me to participate in this year’s Beachapalooza (oh yes, there will be more), I had to work flex time at work to get my 40 hours in this week.  I’m working three 12-hour shifts, tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday.  Then I’m just working four hours on Thursday and getting off work at 12pm to head down to the beach.

I’m actually VERY fortunate that I was able to do this, because this week is actually blacked out at work for travel.  In our business, which is post-secondary education, it’s “all hands on deck” for the two weeks before a quarter begins, and our Fall Quarter begins on September 8th.

As I was saying, tomorrow begins the longest three days of my life.  I’ll be able to really get some work done though, and I hope it pays off with lots of students coming in.

Then…it’s BEACHAPALOOZA baby!  It’s on, starting (for me and Christy) on Thursday.  Half the group is actually going down on Wednesday afternoon, and they can have SOME of the fun on Wednesday night, but they must save the majority of the fun for when we get down there.

BTW…I need some new music.  And I’d like my onemattDOTcom’ers to help me out.  Give me something you’re listening to right now that you think I might like.
