I was re-reading my post regarding the Republicans in November today, and it occurs to me that I might’ve come across as somewhat bitter myself. It’s important that I be clear on how I feel about the political landscape that is the US in 2008.
I am in no way making it seems as if the Republicans have no good ideas. John McCain was very compelling last night, and he kept the Obama-bashing to a minimum (as opposed to Sarah Palin the night before, where after introducing her family spent the majority of her time bringing down Obama).

I watch about an hour of the Republican National Convention last night. I wish I could get that hour of my life back.
Let me give you a bit of history here. My family growing up (and still is) was very Republican. I grew up with Reaganomics and Bush Sr. Then Clinton came along, and of course most of the people I knew railed against him for his personality and his politics and his womanizing. I soon became one of those people.

Greetings readers…it’s been a while since I came and talked to you about what all has been going on in my life, so I thought it best if I took the time to do that today.
