(note to the readers: I’m diggin’ this new John Mayer album, but then again, who thought I wouldn’t? Show of hands…yeah, thought so.)

So Christy comes home tonight from work talking on the cell to a friend of hers, and from her end of the conversation, I can tell that this friend has finally gotten pregnant after several months of trying. After she gets off the call, Christy sat down to eat and after dinner was a little upset. It turns out she feels like this is going to change the dynamic of her relationship with this person, and she’s probably right, but Christy’s viewing it as a negative, while I think she’ll still be around. We had a good cry about it and we’re all good.

I told her we’re establishing our own group, the very professional, very successful (for the most part), world traveling, no kids allowed group. This, of course, is separate from the kids group and the no kids, still partying group.

In other news, there’s been no news from VCO or EIS, and I had a phone interview with company called LogoNation today, for a sales job with them. At this point, I’m likely to take anything I can get my grubby hands on. It’s been 6 weeks unemployed for Mattie…that’s no good, Charlie.
