I’ve about had it with this crap of “happy holidays” versus “merry christmas”…so I’m gonna put my foot down.
I was sitting at my desk at work, and a couple new reps were brought out to sit with me to observe me doing my job, and I was showing them my first “welcome” email that I send to my potential students, and in my “current” version, I have the sentence below:
It’s Christmas Time, and there’s no better present to give yourself than an education and a better career for you and your family!
This new rep saw that and gasped, saying something like “You should probably change that to ‘Holiday season’ shouldn’t you? I mean, you don’t know what sort of person you’re sending it to or how they observe the holiday season…”
Give me a break. It’s Christmas to me, it’s Christmas to the majority of my students, and even if it’s not, they should get what I mean. I’ve about had it with being politically correct when it comes to Christmas.
If Bush says “Merry Christmas”, I’m saying “Merry Christmas”.

AMEN! MERRY CHRISTMAS…
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!
