It was a movie day for Christy and I yesterday…and what I mean by that is we go see two movies in one night.  We do that about two or three times a year.  This time, it was “Charlotte’s Web” and “The Holiday”.

Charlotte’s Web was good…had some funny moments, and of course the story is great.  But the theater was PACKED with kids and well, that’s not really my crowd.  So, after that movie was over, we went and got dinner at Zyng, and then went back to the theater for the 2nd movie, “The Holiday”.

I can’t remember smiling at a movie as much as I did watching this movie.  It’s just a feel-good movie, something everyone should see for the holidays.  Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet are very striking and the acting was pretty good.  I can definitely see a future in this for Jack Black, he’s just a natural at being the quirky romantic, and well…Jude Law…my wife leans to me halfway through the movie to say “I know you’re my husband and not my boyfriend, but he’s just so sexy!” and then she giggled.  Well sure he is…

Anyway, I definitely recommend seeing “The Holiday” if you can get there before the movie is gone from the theaters.  Today, a relatively slow day ahead, with a night out on the town tonight (perhaps) and then tomorrow another outing with friends for New Year’s Eve.  Still 3 more days before I have to go back to work!
