Okay, two things here:

1) How do you feel if you’re the person who lost to the dead person?

2) My favorite line from the piece: “Jerauld County Auditor Cindy Peterson said she believes the county board will have to meet to appoint a replacement for Steichen.” Really?! You’re not just going to exhume the body (assuming it’s buried) and prop it up “Weekend at Bernie’s” style in the office??
