So today at work should fly by…I’ve made a few calls this morning, and everyone’s preparing for the pot luck today for lunch. I’ve got a bunch of calls to do this afternoon, then I’ll be getting everything ready for the week I’m gone. It’s finally here! But…the next 24 hours will be hectic! I’ve got a load of clothes to do, a ton of stuff to gather for the trip, and we’re going over to Kim and Jason’s tonight to celebrate Thanksgiving with them since a lot of people are going out of town...

I posed a question to the folks at 9rules today…here it is: Here’s something I think should be interesting discussion. If you could choose one skill or talent that you don’t currently have and it could be given to you by snapping your fingers, what would it be? South Dakota - Where Even The Dead Can Win! Okay, two things here: 1) How do you feel if you’re the person who lost to the dead person? 2) My favorite line from the piece: “Jerauld County Auditor Cindy Peterson said she believes the county board will have to meet to appoint a replacement for Steichen.” Really?! You’re not just going to exhume the body (assuming it’s buried) and prop it up “Weekend at Bernie’s” style in the office??

Or at the very least, you’ve got to drive 1.8 miles to the polling place in the rain and miss the crowd entirely and be in and out in like 5 minutes. For something so important, voting takes an incredible short period of time to do. I’m so completely done with being the way I’m being.  I’m the only one who needs to worry about what I mean. So get out and rock that vote baby.
